Are you experienced within SEN case management?
Do you posses a qualification within SEN or Social Care to be able to assist in the renewals and reviews of Education and Health & Care assessments for children and young people within the city?
An exciting new position has become available within Local Authority to assist in the renewals of Education assessment reviews. We are looking for a candidate who has a wealth of experience within this field so they would be able to hit the ground running and help in reducing the number of renewals by the end of the temporary assignment.
You will be responsible for coordinating, constructing, and developing education, health and care plans, within statutory timescales, from approved assessments to achieve stated objectives and outcomes in relation to the needs of individual children and young people, reflecting their aspirations as closely as possible.
Additionally, you will undertake ongoing co-ordination, monitoring and review of EHC plans to ensure that the appropriate level of support is in place, that appropriate progress is being made toward achieving the outcomes specified in the plans.
The right candidate will be able to deal with a complex workload, have excellent written and verbal communication, the ability to analyse professional reports and be a confident decision maker.
This role is on a temporary basis for around 12 weeks, you will need to be able to start ASAP and ideally already have an Enhanced DBS.
