Reed Social Care London are currently looking for Semi Independent Residential Support Workers to join a fantastic Semi Independent service in Kent and South East London on a temporary basis.
Our client specialises in providing therapeutic care to young people with complex needs. They aim to bridge the gap between leaving care and living in the outside world.
Working in this role you will provide young people with a positive role model who will help them to develop the practical skills they need to look after themselves when they leave care. This can include helping with accommodation, housing applications, managing finances, finding employment, advocacy and guidance for further education and training.
Shift patterns vary from long days, earlies, lates and nights.
All applicants must have:
- 1 years practical experience in a semi independent service with in the last 24 months.
- References we can obtain covering 2 years
- Level 3 Diploma for Health and Social Care/Children and Young People or equivalent
