Reed Education Cardiff is currently recruiting passionate Maths teachers with the sincere desire to improve pupil performance across the Key Stages for September. The role is in a mixed 11-18 Cardiff based secondary school that has consistently and consecutively improved its pupil performance and Estyn level of accreditation with the option to deliver KS5 sessions for candidates of outstanding calibre.

It is important you have full understanding of the new specifications for GCSE Numeracy with experience of teaching the subject welcomed. You will be a talented practitioner with the ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons for learners and to embed differentiation strategies accordingly. You will be a strong practitioner with demonstrable effective strategies to ensure an immediate and lasting impact on learner progress. Experience of embedding technology within your practice and pupil-led inquiry-based teaching strategies is preferred but not essential.

To be considered for the role, you will be/will have:
• A qualified teacher (QTS status);
• A good honours degree or equivalent in Maths or another Maths related subject;
• Experience of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences up to KS4 (KS5 desirable);
• A sincere desire to see all pupils improve and strategies to ensure positive attainment;
• Effective class management with pupils at all levels;
• Tenacious attitude with a devotion to self-improvement;
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
