Are you a qualified Science teacher with additional responsibilities?
Have your previously been a SENCO with elements of teaching your subject specialism?
A school just outside of Birmingham City Centre are looking to recruit for a Science Teacher to teach 13 lessons a week of Chemistry, Biology and Physics to KS3 and KS4 students and the rest of your timetable as a SENCO. This is a full time role starting in the new academic year September 2020 on a temporary basis initially.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and previous experience as a SENCO
- Science specialism – able to teach Chemistry, Biology and Physics
- Proven track record as a SENCO
- Experience in Secondary Schools
As the SENCO, you will ensure that students who feel left behind academically have the necessary support to be able to continue learning at a similar pace to their peers. As the Science teacher, you will be required to deliver high quality lessons to KS3 and KS4 students fulfilling all teaching duties such as lesson planning, marking and assessment.
