Job Role: Newly Qualified Secondary Teacher

Location: Cheshire East

Start Date: September

Pay details: £80 -£110 per day

Reed Education Cheshire work in partnership with many of the secondary schools across the area. We are the first choice agency for these schools and as such are recruiting now to fulfil all September school cover needs.

We are looking for exceptional candidates who are soon to be secondary qualified. All subject specialisms are welcome to apply! Supply offers a great way for you to gain experience, form professional relationships and to become part of a school community. Many temporary supply roles can also lead to permanent opportunities within a school.

During these ever changing times, we will be looking to interview potential candidates remotely, for everybody’s safety. At the end of the schools closures, we will arrange a face to face meeting with you to discuss the longer term career opportunities available to you within the local schools.

The ideal candidates would be those who have the flexibility to take both advanced and on the day teaching bookings. You will have easy transport links to the following areas:

-Crewe and Nantwich

-Sandbach and Alsager

-Congleton and Macclesfield

Some bookings may continue for a longer period of time, so this is a great opportunity for newly qualified teachers to develop confidence and experience whilst working. As you will be invited to cover lessons within different schools, this will provide you with an insight to many different policies and school environments.

What you will need:

  • Secondary PGCE or equivalent
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Ideally you will have worked with learners with a range of needs
  • Be able to engage learners through a range of methods
