ICT Teacher Role for September 2020

Reed Education Milton Keynes are currently working with a large, Ofsted Rated ‘Outstanding’ Secondary school in the Luton area. The school is looking for a motivated and talented ICT Teacher to join them starting September 2020 on a full time, permanent basis.

This school provides a fantastic educational opportunity for students aged between 11 and 18. They are looking for a committed and motivated member of staff to join their team and work as an ICT Teacher within the classroom. This role will be perfect for NQT’s or experienced Teachers.
You will be teaching the UK national curriculum but will also be teaching coding and computer science.
As a Teacher of ICT you will be part of a hardworking team, work in a large environment and be confident in using integrated technology in the class room.

To carry out the general duties of a teacher:
Participate fully in whole school, year group, and lesson planning.
Co-ordinate / act as a subject specialist in the designated curriculum area including monitoring and assessment.
Monitor and assess pupil results and progress, ensuring that appropriate records have been kept in line with school policy.
As a Teacher working in the school you will be expected to:
Support the schools pastoral system within the year group, class and with individual
Effectively utilise support staff and resources within the class.
Play a full part in the life of the school community, supporting the ethos of the school
and encouraging staff, pupils and parents to do likewise.
Comply with school policies and procedures in areas such as assessment, marking,
behaviour management, communication with parents, teaching English as an additional language, cover, induction, short and long term planning, staff meetings and parental events.
Maintain good behaviour within the classroom and elsewhere in the school.

Must Hold NQT with the stance to achieve QTS or already hold QTS.
All successful candidates will need to be compliant with reference checks and provide at least 2 references, one must be education or childcare based.
All successful candidates must be willing to undergo a DBS Police check.
