It’s hard to imagine things being “normal” again in crowded assembly halls and standing in front of a noisy classroom but the new academic year will be upon us before we know it.
It’s no secret that this is a strange time for everyone. Teachers are teaching through the screen; pupils are trying to learn at home alone and pretty much everyone is missing their friends and family.
Despite this, schools are recruiting for September now.
If you are a Humanities Teacher with experience teaching History, Geography the UK curriculum to KS3 and ideally KS5, I'd love to speak with you!
Where will your next classroom be?
There is such a variety of schools across South & South West London and we're recruiting for them in two ways - one is for specific vacancies and the second is that some schools are interested in knowing who’s on the market as they start to plan for next year’s provision, whether preempting resignations or over-staffing their department.
We’re facilitating telephone & video interviewing as well as video lesson plans so there’s no delay on securing a new role for September.
Of course, there are some of the obvious requirements to be mindful of:
- A teaching qualification
- Good behaviour management & an understanding of the UK curriculum
- A sense of humour – hopefully it’ll last through the summer term working in this new way!
- Enthusiasm & creative flair for your subject or specialism
Can you be tempted? If so, apply today and I’ll be in touch to discuss in more detail.
