Reed Education Cardiff are currently recruiting for a specialist Humanities teacher able to teach any of History, Geography or Religious Education to a high level in a mixed secondary school located in Cardiff to start September 2020. You will be a holder Qualified Teacher Status and have demonstrable relationship building skills with learners in order to make a meaningful and purposeful impact immediately. The school prides itself on its tradition of excellent provision of teaching and learning strategies. This is an exceptional opportunity for a practitioner looking to make a start in a supportive school that is looking to implement creative learning strategies and breed an inclusive team ethos.

To be considered for the role, you will be/will have:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS status);
  • A good honours degree or equivalent in a Humanities-relevant subject discipline;
  • Experience of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences up to KS4 (KS5 desirable);
  • A sincere desire to see all pupils improve and strategies to ensure positive attainment;
  • Effective class management with pupils at all levels;
  • Tenacious attitude with a devotion to self-improvement;
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced teachers who are looking for a new challenge in education as well as practitioners who are seeking shorter-term employment in the education sector.
