English Teacher Post for September 2020
Are you a Passionate and dedicate English Teacher looking for a new role?
Reed Education Milton Keynes are currently working with a large, Ofsted Rated ‘Good’ Secondary school in the Milton Keynes area. The school is looking for a motivated and talented English Teacher to join them starting September 2020 on a full time, permanent basis.

• The students aim to achieve the very highest standard they can and everyone’s potential is maximised.
• They welcome students of all abilities and have high standards and values of good behaviour, honesty and mutual respect.
To assist in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies in the Curriculum Area and Department.
To plan and prepare courses and lessons.
To contribute to the whole school’s planning activities.
To work with the Head of Department to match work well to students’ needs on Strategy, etc.
To promote the general progress and well-being of individual students and of the tutor group as a whole.
To register students, accompany them to assemblies, encourage their full attendance at all lessons and their participation in other aspects of Academy life.
To evaluate and monitor the progress of students and keep up-to-date student records as may be required.
To alert the appropriate staff to problems experienced by students and to make recommendations as to how these may be resolved.
To communicate as appropriate, with the parents of students and with persons or bodies outside the Academy concerned with the welfare of individual students, after consultation with the appropriate staff
To apply the Behaviour Management systems so that effective learning can take place.
To undertake assessment of students as requested by external examination bodies, departmental and Academy procedures.

- Must have experience of teaching English in the UK curriculum
Must be able to inspire, motivate and challenge all pupils
All successful candidates must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS Police check and apply this to the Update Service.
