An outstanding secondary school in north west Surrey is looking to recruit a Drama teacher to join their exciting Creative Arts Department in September 2020 until August 2021 to cover a maternity leave.
The school uses technology to support and progress learning and all students and staff have access to ipads – full training will be given to new staff. All staff will have access to one-to-one support, coaching and mentoring and access to extensive professional development as part of the benefits package at the school. Applications would be welcome from Newly Qualified Teachers as well as experienced colleagues.
• Have QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
• Have a creative arts or drama qualification to undergraduate level
• Have experience in teaching the UK Drama curriculum at Secondary school level
• Have experience in teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 -4, including the current GCSE specification
You should be willing to contribute and manage school productions and to be a wider part of the school community.
The role is for ONE academic year to cover a maternity leave. The pay scale is London Fringe and the successful applicant will be paid to scale dependant on current salary and experience.
