An 'outstanding' secondary school in south west Surrey is looking for a qualified Business and Economics teacher to join them on a temporary long term basis from Easter 2020 until the end of the summer term in July 2020. There is the possibility that this role may be permanent from September 2020.
The position is offered on a full time basis but the school would consider applications from strong candidates who are looking for a part time role. You would be teaching students in Key Stage 4-5, including preparation and revision for GCSE and A Level examinations. The school follows the Edexcel examination syllabus.
The role is paid to London Fringe.
You would need:
QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
To have a qualification in a relevant subject to degree level or higher
To have experience teaching Business and Economics at Key Stage 3-4
To be available to start after Easter 2020
The school is committed to the safeguarding and protection of all students and staff, so applicants would need to have an Enhanced DBS certificate which is registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one (this involves a police check).
