Established scaffolding contractor based in Petersfield, Hampshire. We operate throughout Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex and London including Portsmouth, Fareham, Southampton, Aldershot, Farnham & Guildford.

To supervise and lead teams of Scaffolders to achieve health & safety objectives and to meet productivity, quality and delivery targets across multiple projects.

Ensuring that the teams work to the agreed standards. Assist with co-ordinating the workload to ensure that tasks are prioritised correctly and to assist with implementing and supporting continuous improvement.


Responsibilities:


Visiting sites on a daily basis to monitor progress and ensure targets are being met.
Ensure Health and Safety standards are implemented and being met by operatives on site.
Liaising with clients to understand requirements and plan forthcoming activities.
Completing Scaffold inspections in accordance with Work at Height regulations and maintaining records.
Completion of Handover documents.
Supervision and line management of scaffold teams to SG4 &TG20.
Planning and allocation of scaffold works including material inventory and resources. You will be involved in the Estimating process.
Produce documentation as required to manage the projects including the management of Scaffolding requests and Labour – Timesheets/Daily Allocation sheets, Handover certificates and SVO’s in collaboration with Scaffolding contracts manager.
Reviewing design plans and ensuring that structures are erected in compliance with engineering requirements.
Assisting with scoping and planning jobs, to include ordering equipment, arranging related activities such as access, deliveries, and other such related tasks.
Ensuring that delivery deadlines are achieved.
Identify cost reduction opportunities resulting from improved / changed maintenance techniques.
Log any delays and reasons which can be analysed to improve efficiency and reduce future delays.
To assist and support scaffold team with erecting and striking scaffold structures as production schedule demands.




Person Specification:

Preferably Qualified as an ‘Advanced Scaffolder’
Preferably holds a “CITB SSSTS” or “CISRS Scaffolding Supervisor” Qualification.
Knowledge and experience of NASC (National Access & Scaffold Confederation) SG4 and TG20 in scaffolding management.
Experience in a chargehand or supervisory role.
Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and develop others
Effective project planning and project management skills
Proven standard of IT literacy as well as good communication skills, both written and verbal.
