My client, based on the outskirts of Reading, have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Support Administrator, ideally with electronics industry experience. 

The Role

To work as part of a busy sales team providing support to the Account Managers. You will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities will be:-

  • Deliver outstanding levels of service to all customers
  • Answer incoming calls from customers and suppliers
  • Accurately loads BOMs (bills of material) on to the company’s system
  • Obtain quotations from approved sources
  • Enter new sales orders from customers
  • Expedite purchases orders with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery targets are met
  • Support Account Mangers by responding to e-mails, answering telephone calls, etc.
  • General administration duties
  • Work within the Company’s quality procedures
  • Maintain key performance measures
  • Work with other areas of the business in a friendly and professional manner
  • Any other duties to support the Managing Director and Internal sales team
  • Be willing to develop within the team and take on additional responsibilities as required

Skills required:-

  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Strong administration skills including excellent attention to detail
  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in the use of SAP, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
  • A genuine desire to provide the highest levels of customer service
