Reed Business Support is currently working alongside a training provider based in Middlesbrough who is looking for a Sales Manager to join the team!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop high quality business proposals in order to meet sales targets
• Retain and grow existing revenue streams across all areas of the group
• Meet new business sales targets across all areas of the group, selling our products and services
• Maximise sales through understanding the needs of our customers and matching it to the services that we can provide utilising the skills and knowledge of colleagues where necessary
• Grow pipelines and maximise every sales opportunity
• Ensure Customers are supported in throughout the sales process through timely and appropriate communication
• Use CRM to record and report on successes
• Provide input to and follow up marketing campaigns
• Close sales and process all paperwork
• Build close relationships with customers and staff
• Attend sales meetings and provide timely and accurate reports
• Contribute to the development of sales procedures
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as determined by your line manager/director as appropriate to the general character of the post or level of the responsibility entailed

Ideal Person: 

• Strong sales background essential with previous experience and proven success in achieving sales targets
• Knowledge of Industry and Training
• Knowledge of relevant funding streams
• Thorough understanding and experience of all products and services (apprenticeships, training, consultancy, assessment and verification)
• Must possess excellent customer’s relations and communication skills
• Willingness to travel and develop sales overseas
