Sales Executive

Permanent - (37.5 hours per week and discretionary)
Based in Belfast

To efficiently and effectively carry out all aspects of sales development and customer relationship management across a range of target and existing customers, supporting tendering and procurement processes. This role will include extensive interaction with customers, suppliers and staff.

• To manage sales development, ensuring that all customer needs are clearly understood and requirements are met on a timely and professional basis
• Planning key customer targets of the business, identifying product and service needs that can be delivered
• To identify new opportunities in agreed regional territories, identifying product and service needs
• Liaising closely with Design to ensure that the specification of requirements is clearly outlined to provide the customer with an accurate and professional design solution
• Support the tendering and procurement processes within both the public and private sectors
• Undertake PPQs and tenders including follow up debriefs and challenges put forward via formal procurement processes
• Management of diverse relationships, both internally and externally
• Ability to support and lead a team in the delivery of a formal tender
• Delivery of challenging projects within agreed timescales
• Dealing with a varied role, working on various projects simultaneously

• Evident experience in a sales role or experience in a similar role within the office furniture sector and those with experience of tendering procedures
• Strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office suite (Word and Advanced Excel and Power Point)
• Qualifications – A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), Grade C or above
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally
• Present excellent customer care with a professional attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team and influence and negotiate with a range of people at various levels of seniority
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
