REED Business Support are currently looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join a market leader within the shipping and transport industry in the Teesside area, who, due to growth are looking to expand their sales team!

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for: 

  • Communicating with B2B customers via phone and email regarding their requirements
  • Following up on warm leads
  • Using a bespoke CRM system to send quotes to customers
  • Processing orders
  • Customer account management
  • Upselling and cross-selling where possible
  • Converting leads into sales using proactive sales techniques
  • Achieving KPI’s set out by your manager which include – sales cycle, response time, pipeline, conversion rate etc.
  • Achieving individual budget set out by your manager as well as contributing to overall team budget

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar sales role, outbound telesales would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a desire to solve problems
  • Excellent sales, objection handling and rapport building skills
  • Proven track record with evidence backing this up
  • Ability to achieve targets and deliver results in a challenging environment
  • IT Skills – CRM system knowledge and use of
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organise workload and manage time effectively
