We’re working in partnership with our client to recruit for a Sales Executive to join their sales team based on the out skirts of Lancaster.
The main focus of this role is to manage the sales process and convert leads into orders and sales along with providing consultancy advice to customers.
This is an internal sales role and you’ll be involved in all aspects of the sales process and also required to liaise with other departments.
What does the role involve?
Lead management – managing a busy pipeline of leads, contacting customers by phone, email and other IT tools to qualify the leads and identify the customers needs.
Pricing & Quoting – after identifying the customers needs and finding the best solutions pricing accordingly and pricing to win the account ensuring margins are aligned with company margin targets
Proactively managing the sales process – following all sales activities and ensuring the process is moving along in a timely manner. Ensuring all orders are invoiced correctly and shipped as required.
Building and maintaining stakeholder relations – Ensuring excellent communication at all times to build resilient client relations. Closing the sales and agreeing terms and conditions.
Who is the successful candidate?
You’ll have a proven, demonstrable background in Sales and understand the Sales Cycle.
You’ll be a clear and concise communicator with the ability to negotiate and close the sale.
You’ll be able to build resilient client relationships and be confident when dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll be able to work in a fast paced often demanding environment, always conducting yourself in a professional manner.
You’ll have excellent organisational skills and good competency in MS applications
Time management is very important in this role so you’ll be able to manage your workload and prioritise accordingly
Positivity is key and you’ll bring with you a real can do attitude and be willing to contribute in a positive way to the team, helping out with tasks as required
