Sales Executive - Permanent - Brighton
My client are a well-established and family owned distributor of catering and cleaning supplies, based in Brighton.
This is a brand new position with scope to develop in line with your skill set. The role is a mix of sales, customer service and administration and would suit someone with experience in all three areas.
This is a varied position and you will have the opportunity to learn many aspects of the business. Your main responsibilities will be:
• Securing new business
• Speaking to existing customers to discuss repeat orders/up-sell relevant products
• Dealing with incoming enquiries via telephone and email
• Processing orders
• Updating customer information
• Providing post-sale customer service
• General administration
• Reception duties
This is by no means a stressful sales role with tough KPIs and unrealistic targets to hit, but you will be expected to develop new business and up-sell products to existing customers.
As such, you should be confident and engaging and effective at building business relationships, with a strong work ethic in line with the company ethos.
