Our Client based in North Bristol, Yate is currently recruiting for a Sales Customer Service Advisor to join their vibrant team.

£15000 - £16500 plus commission

Ideally previous experience within inbound customer service/sales team 


Main Purpose of Job:

The generation & retention of customers.

Key Tasks:
1. Influence customers to buy or retain product or service by following a prepared script to give product reference information.
2. Identify and maximise sales opportunities through cross selling and up selling through a sales by service approach
3. Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
4. To place customer orders and strive to resolve all customer enquiries at first point of contact, primarily by telephone but also by correspondence and email.
5. To carry out policies and implement procedures as determined by management
6. To develop and maintain an in depth knowledge and understanding of products and services.
7. Ensure all KPI’S are achieved on a weekly/daily basis
8. Delivery of marketing campaigns as instructed by management
9. Call new & existing customers to establish and develop relationships.
10. To carry out any ad hoc tasks as required from time to time.
11. Investigate customer’s problems and find solutions.
12. Keep abreast of new company products and services
13. Regularly brief the Manager on all significant issues and opportunities in order to maximise success
14. To promote and uphold company values.

Customer Satisfaction

1. Ensure customer expectations are managed and met.

2. Ensure that standing order/top up customers delivery expectations are met.

Operational Excellence

1. Ensure that current processes, procedures and systems meet the requirements of the business, making recommendations for improvement and efficiencies as appropriate.

2. Effectively plan and organise all areas of administration to ensure that all time deadlines are met.

3. Carry out ad hoc special projects and champion initiatives as required.

4. All tasks to be undertaken in line with company policy.

Market Leadership

1. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other sales personnel to ensure that best practice is shared across the company.

2. Seek regular customer feedback on products and services ensuring that they are input to the company quality assurance system.


Person Specification

Qualification:
1. A sound educational background ideally to A Level standard.

Experience:
1. Proven track record of previous sales & customer service experience.

Skills:

1. Strong Persuading and influencing skills

2. Excellent customer service skills

3. Excellent communication skills

4. Drive and ambition – ability to close tasks and take ownership for delivering individual, objectives

5. Computer literate – CRM systems, Excel, Word & Power point skills
