My client, a lighting company based in London SE1, are looking to recruit for a Sales Co-ordinator, owing to an internal promotion.

They are a successful organisation, with a friendly, professional working environment; they have exceeded their growth targets in recent years.

The role would suit someone with 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally used to working in a very fast paced market that has experience of solving problems, and enjoys working to very tight deadlines.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to join a successful, growing organisation, and learn a number of different business processes.

Salary is £22-24k per annum, depending on experience.


Duties include: -

Dealing with a variety of customer queries by phone and e-mail,

Primary contact for Sales Engineers, dealing with queries (often to tight deadlines).

Placing & Project Managing Orders; sourcing alternatives where necessary & keeping all parties informed.

Liaising with Suppliers & Customers both in the UK & Overseas.

Filling & General Office Duties

Personal qualities:

The ideal candidate needs to be self-motivated, work well under pressure, be able to multitask to a high level .

Any instructions given must be acted upon quickly and accurately, however the candidate needs to be able to prioritise their own work load.

Must have an ability to demonstrate good communication skills, both verbally and written.

The ideal candidate needs to be able to work within a team environment and also be able to work alone.

Must demonstrate strong IT literacy, and numeracy.

Must have problem-solving skills.
