REED in Bromley are working with a client who is looking for a Commercial Support Administrator to support their sales and marketing teams by providing secretarial and administrative support.

Duties will include

• Reconcile all UK Foodservice customers’ rebates and ORDs accurately and in a timely manner
• Manage All business travel – including booking flights and accommodation
• Provide reports for sales and marketing as and when requested
• Participant in the sales process through the monitoring and prioritisation of sales pipelines. Keep the sales lead data base updated.
• Prioritisation of new sales leads and enquiries as required.
• Compile information and complete new line forms when needed.
• Compile information needed for contract documents and complete ready for account manager to sign.
• Align and coordinately the weekly sales team’s movements. Reconcile these movements against sales team profiles and send reports to the line managers.
• Use of ERP system and any future CRM, including Locus Notes.
• Cover duties of Office Receptionist when required (holiday/sickness cover).
• Manage sample requests from sales teams to customer care.
• Have competent knowledge of IT systems.
• Manage UK sales sickness and holiday file.
• Manage credit card, cash expenses and fuel return file.
• Organise all business travel for Sales and Marketing teams and others when requested.
• Take reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others, ensuring compliance with safety regulations in area of responsibility, in line with all relevant Health and Safety legislation.

Essential criteria

• Grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• Previous experience of general office admin duties in a busy environment (administrative support/customer service experience).
• High level of numeracy skills; experience of preparation and manipulation of data, producing reports.
• Experience in successfully liaising with all levels within a business.
• IT skills – proficient in the use of Microsoft Office in particular good working knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

Desirable criteria
• Has worked in an FMCG environment.
• Experience of ERP/CRM systems.
• Experience of working with sales teams to compile expenses, leads and produce reports.
• Experience of organising and booking business travel.
