Our client a leading retailer and manufacturer in its industry, established over 20 years are seeking highly experienced customer service and sales agents in their team.
You will be responsible for taking incoming telephone and email enquiries from domestic customers considering purchasing their products. Welcoming and supporting potential customers visiting the company's show site.
Investigating the customer's requirements through general conversation and then making relevant product proposals either from the company's own product range (preferred) or from other 3rd party ranges based on information gained.
Providing the customer with relevant information in support of the product selection and proposing relevant ancillary items wherever possible and overcoming objections whilst ensuring a positive customer experience at all times.
In addition to the above the successful applicant will be required to support the customer through to product delivery/installation - calling to arrange delivery and installation etc.
You will also be required to assist with general service enquiries - spare parts request, repairs, guarantee enquiries etc. and undertake a range of general administration duties.
Whilst this is a "sales" role, this is very much a soft sales/customer service approach, engaging with customers to fully understand their requirements and making informed proposals of products that will best meet their needs.
You will have:
Applicants must have previous customer service or sales experience, ideally both over the telephone and face to face and ideally in a B2C environment, possibly from a retail or call centre background.
Applicants must also have up to date working knowledge of Windows PCs including Access, Excel, Publisher, Word, etc. along with good data entry skills (alpha and numeric).
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm with two weekends in every 4 with days off in lieu.
You will be rewarded with an attractive salary £18,500 with earnings potential of OTE £22,000 per annum along with excellent company benefits.
