The role will cover both the Children and Young People's Service and Adult Service.
This is a temporary fixed term contract role until the end of December 2017 and requires a September start.
The successful candidate will lead on the development of the Local Authorities Local Safeguarding boards.
You will implement and ensure compliance with effective structures and processes to facilitate the safeguarding of children and adults across statutory, independent and the voluntary and charitable sectors.
This post will work closely with the Independent Chair and advisors to the Boards to ensure Safeguarding partnerships are effective, supported and meeting their responsibilities.
To be considered for the role you will need to evidence sound knowledge of Safeguarding and working in partnership Boards, have chaired complex meetings and able to demonstrate your Project leadership or management skills along with a competence to complete detailed and quality reports, exhibit effective partnership working and how to apply this in professional networks.
