Our client is a well-established business within the leisure industry, currently looking to recruit a Royalties Management Accountant to join their head office finance team in London.

This is an interesting opportunity to have autonomy over the Royalties side of the business with exposure to work alongside another Management Accountant.

Reporting into the Financial Controller the role will include:

Manage filing and payment of royalties to all external licensors including ensuring all reports and filed accurately and on time.
Complete project of automating all royalty reporting and set up of licensing software – Dependable Solutions
Manage royalties for licensing out to licensees.
Assist licensing department with information requests such as forecasting.
Maintain royalty records for all licensors and work with royalty auditors.
Maintain royalty information in the monthly management accountants including monthly accruals, tracking of guarantee prepayments, invoicing and payment deadlines.
Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts for group companies and departments.
Other accounts and administrative duties for the finance department.

ACCA/ACA or equivalent qualified or part-qualified with additional experience.
Minimum 3-4 years of management accounts experience
Team player who enjoys working in a small team.
Very confident using Excel including pivot tables, Vlookups and sumifs
Experience of foreign exchange transactions.

This role would suit someone who has/is working within a Royalties based position with strong technical accounting who is looking to get more exposure outside of Royalties.

This would suit those who are early-mid stage ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, although qualified by experience will be considered.
