The overall purpose of the role: Quality assure and complete a risk assessment or risk summary for all domestic abuse crimes and incidents risk assessed by front line staff as medium or high and those standard risk cases that reach the requirement. Review all domestic incidents with children and vulnerable adults, and in line with current information sharing protocols and thresholds, ensure appropriate information sharing with partner agencies
Essential skills and experience
+Good standard of education including excellent numeracy and literacy skills or recent, relevant experience
+IT Literate including proficient use of Word and Excel with a willingness to learn and use other systems as technology advances.
+Proven ability to research, produce high quality documentation and analyse data
+Proven ability to develop strong working relationships inside and outside the team to achieve common goals.
+Display sensitivity, tact and discretion, identifying confidential matters and dealing with them in an appropriate manner.
+Flexible approach to working hours and the ability to work at other locations at short notice in order to support the force-wide team during times of high workload, sickness, annual leave, etc
+Experience of inter-agency partnership work with an understanding of child and/or adult protection
+Knowledge of force systems, e.g. NICHE and Command & Control etc.
+Previous experience of working within a domestic abuse and/or community safety field, with an understanding of MAPPA (Multi agency public protection arrangement) / MARAC (multi agency risk assessment conference) processes and protocols.
+Experience of inter-agency and partnership work
