The Role – What does the Resourcing Coordinator role look like?

Reed Specialist Recruitment have recently just won a brand new Master Vendor recruitment contract with a client in the public sector based in Leeds. We are now looking to set up an account management team to oversee and manage this contract win.

Part of this will include a Resourcing Coordinator to provide candidate delivery into this contract. The types of roles that you will be resourcing for will include care, nursery workers, business support and also accountancy roles amongst others.

The Resourcing Coordinator will cover all aspects of the recruitment process which include the following key responsibilities;
• Sourcing candidates via internal job boards, Reed.co.uk, bespoke external job boards and social media
• accurately analyse job descriptions in order to identify key aspects of the job requirements and match against a large volume of CVs
• conducting telephone screening interviews to qualify candidates for relevant roles

The Person – What makes a good Resourcing Coordinator?

The ideal candidate will have GCSE’s in Maths and English or equivalent (Grade C or above). You will ideally have recruitment experience and preferably knowledge of resourcing strategies such as candidate attraction, sourcing, screening and vetting. We would also be very interested in speaking to anyone with experience of recruiting in the social care and public sector. If you don’t have all of this experience then you will need to have strong customer service and administration skills and experience that can transfer into this role.

You will need to be someone who is comfortable being on the phone and building relationships with candidates and Hiring Managers for the client. You will need to be good with Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word and also be good at picking up new internal systems.
