REED Human Resources is working with a forward thinking social enterprise to recruit a Resourcing and Talent Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a secondment.

Key skills & attributes;

o Deliver and manage an in-house recruitment service in line with internal customer needs and requirements, to enable them to meet their business outcomes.
o Lead on developing overall frameworks, policies and processes which inform leaders how to successfully resource their area of the business
o Ensure these tools are being used and continue to be effective in the business by checking in on the service and if not use this insight to determine what changes are needed, be innovative in finding ways to ensure the service is adding value
o Take personal ownership of senior recruitments where a bespoke service including head-hunting may be required.
o Ensure all colleagues recruited have been assessed against our DNA and fit with the culture of the organisation, raising any concerns with the relevant Head of service before offer stage.
o Ensure that the in-house recruiters assess candidates against a pre-agreed list of skills for the role, challenging leaders if offers are being considered to candidates without them.
o Have a detailed understanding of current and future thinking around how to effectively resource a business, as well as current market intelligence providing insight and recommendations to the senior people leadership team.
o Coach and support the in-house recruiters, the wider HR team and leaders in the business on effective recruitment practice.
o Ensure compliance with best practice, legislative and regulatory frameworks
o Manage relationships with external suppliers 
o Work closely with the other experts in the team and the HRBP’s to provide a value added service to the business.
o Working closely with the MI and Systems manager, provide the senior leadership team with insightful data telling a story about the current challenges as well as successes.
o Lead, develop and motivate the team, providing clear expectations and professional leadership, with a focus on unlocking their potential.
o Use professional experience to manage the budget and ensure efficient and effective use of the resources.

Experience and skills;

o Experience in Leading an in-house recruitment service
o Great project management skills, demonstrating the ability to deliver results when under pressure.
o A natural curiosity, commercialism and pragmatism with a desire to adapt and adopt best practice to benefit the business.
o Able to fully understand the organisation and adapt and adjust to the challenges it present
o Great Relationship skills
o Excellent influencer
