Here at Reed we are seeking a enthusiastic and dedicated Support Workers to support adults with learning disabilities and associated health needs. We are looking for Support Workers for residential services for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs. The services aim to support people to become more independent in their everyday lives.

As a Support Worker you play an integral part of the care team, you will be responsible for supporting your care team ensuring they are providing high quality of care and service to all residents at all times. You will ensure care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents care. You will take an active part in engaging with residents to understand their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.

Working within the Care team you will show warmth, compassion and support to our residents and their families; helping to promote independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.

The people we support are at the heart of everything we do - they are wonderful individuals and deserve to be treated with respect, dignity and kindness. Our main priority, therefore, is to find staff with values, behaviours and attitudes to match our own. 


- Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role

-An NVQ/Diploma L2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is also required, and significant experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
