Our client, a Swiss-based company with a significant global presence, is currently looking for a Reporting Team Leader to join their dynamic team in Budapest.

What you will be doing:
• Define the reporting center specific controls and procedures for the reporting processes
• Participates in report governance body and link to other departments to ensure high quality processes
• Supports other departments in the definition, checks and tools for reporting activities
• Oversees the preparation, review and analysis of internal and external reporting
• Cooperates with other departments for process improvements, therefore preparation of business cases preparation and presentation
• Coordinates preparation of business cases for reporting application improvements (point of contact for the IT project prioritization board)
• Executes quality check activities to ensure consistency of reported data for all of our companies, e.g.: group structure changes properly reflected, check for major deviations (especially related to equity). Decision on reopening/adjustment of reporting packages
• Global monitoring of validations and import errors (also to identify where support may be needed to ensure on-time-delivery) and support for FO to solve complex issues, e.g. cash-flow
• Analysis of adjustments in the reporting of the company’s management reporting, follow-up on the needed corrections and designing ways to avoid them
• Manage and develop the reporting center employees to continuously provide high quality services to the report recipients
• Collects and evaluates KPIs (both quality KPIs and for reporting center internal steering) and analyzes these KPIs to unveil further reporting improvement potential taking into account benchmarking activities


Requirements that make you the best candidate:
• University or College degree in Business Administration with majors in accounting / controlling or equivalent education
• Fluent English knowledge is a must
• 7+ years of professional experience in a reporting department; Management experience
• Very good presentation and communication skills
• Comprehensive SAP FI/CO/BW skills
• Special knowledge about global processes of internal and external Reporting
