My Client, a Global Manufacturer near Ormskirk, is looking to recruit a Strategic Business Unit Reporting Manager.  This post will report into the Global Reporting Controller.

Duties will include:

- Supporting Global & Regional Management teams with the provision of consolidated financial data to assist with understanding of the business performance
- Ensuring that Group wide reporting requirements are met for monthly / quarterly results, forecasts and budgets
- Working with Site Controllers globally to deliver monthly / quarterly results, forecasts & budgets to the Management teams
- Leading the management of data as well as collection & consolidation of monthly results, budgets & forecasts
- Ensuring reliable consolidations of site change analyses are performed
- Validating overall conclusions & developing comments on key drivers
- Preparing & circulating Finance Report pack to Global & Regional Strategic Business Units and Business Support Controllers, including an explanation of the key drivers for the results
- Regular liaison with European Site / Regional Controllers to discuss & understand key elements of the results
- Reviewing results & understanding key drivers
- Attending monthly results calls with Strategic Business Unit regions
- Gathering explanations & data to support Quarterly & Year End reporting to the Stock Exchange
- Actively supporting the Budget & Forecast processes with the Strategic Business Units to ensure they are completed in a timely manner. Providing explanations of key issues.
- Providing additional reports & data required by Business Support Teams or Strategic Business Units
- Driving improvements in monthly reporting activities
- Dealing with other ad-hoc projects as required

Experience / Qualifications required:

- Ideally a Qualified Accountant with a Degree
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to interpret & explain financial results
- Good Excel skills will be advantageous
- Excellent Interpersonal & Communication skills

This role will attract a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 + 25 days holiday. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
