We are working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the Bury area who are looking to appoint a Planner to work in their customer service team. This role will be based within the Repairs and Maintenance department and will initially be on an ongoing temporary basis, hopefully until at least the end of March 2018 and could lead to a permanent position.

The hourly rate of pay for this role is £11.41 per hour plus holiday pay and a range of Reed temporary employee benefits.

The hours of work will be full time 37 hours per week, working either 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8am to 4pm Friday.

The purpose of the role of the Planner is to raise work, track orders, liaise with sub contractors and Repairs & Maintenance Co-ordinators, as well as speaking to repairs and maintenance workers who are out and about undertaking work at tenant properties.

It is an exciting time for the team within the Contact Centre as more and more services are becoming live on the housing management system and it is a great time to join the team there. The team environent is very friendly and positive and there is a lot of support and training provided by collegaues and management staff. This role forms part of a team in which you will work well with other Repairs & Maintenance colleagues to deliver excellent services.

Person Spec:

We are looking for an organised individual, a team player – someone with some understanding of the services offered by Repairs & Maintenance, someone who enjoys being busy and wants to help us to provide an efficient responsive service.
You will have experience of working in front line customer service and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer services, together with an understanding of the kind of issues faced by our customers.
You will need to be computer literate and possess good keyboard skills in order to update, maintain and retrieve information as required. Knowledge of Housing Management and Planning systems would be an advantage.
