Are you a Registered Manager with experience in managing Children's services?
REED Health and Care are delighted to be working with an inclusive, family-run business who are looking to recruit a Registered Manager for their three-bedded children's home in Somerset to replace a long serving manager.
This is genuinely a fantastic organisation and an attractive role to be a crucial part of a small company, with the Registered Manager being able to play a crucial role in the future plans of the organisation.
As part of the financial package on offer is a unique selling point of an added monthly monetary allowance for how many of the beds are occupied.
* Level 3 Diploma in the Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent
* QCF Level 5 (NVQ Level 4) in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
*A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience within the last 5 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children and, for at least 1 year, requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
*Experience of working under Child Protection legislation.
*Recent experience of childcare planning, development and review, Implementation of policies and procedures and Quality Assurance Monitoring.
*Excellent knowledge of Children’s Home legislation
