What will the role involve?
As the Regional HR Manager you will be responsible for looking after HR issues and relations for 100 stores across London, with head office support from a HR Advisor, HR Assistant and ER Advisor. You will coach and mentor the 100 store Managers as well as remaining approachable to all employees in the stores, also liaising with the 10 area and 1 Regional Manager for the stores. Although there is a recruitment team to look after day to day recruitment you will also input on new talent attraction strategies, succession planning as well as retention and being involved in company recruitment events. In the role you will ultimately take ownership of the people plan and deliver solutions that drive efficiency and performance whilst providing technical HR guidance in all generalist areas.
What skills will you have?
You will have experience working in a similar HR Manager position where you will have covered multi sites within the London area, as well as ideally having worked within the Retail, Hospitality or Leisure industry. Visiting the 100 sites across London you will be a quick rapport builder and be approachable to all, due to the diverse workforce from different backgrounds you will possess a high level of patience and resolve. You will be confident in your knowledge and ability to conduct the role, you will also have a voice that can be heard and confidence challenging areas/issues you know to be incorrect, but doing so in a manner that promotes good relations and collaborative working.
