Summary

Reed Procurement & Supply Chain in central Bristol are looking for a self-motivated and consultative Recruitment Resourcer who possesses a positive attitude with the desire to succeed and build a successful career. We are looking for someone who naturally uses their own initiative to source and select the best candidates through Reed's recruitment database, Linked-In and other major job boards.

As a member of the recruitment team, you will help to create and maintain a consistent supply of candidates ensuring they are in accordance with the company quality procedures. Your position is pivotal to the overall success of the team and as such your contribution is valued and important.

Should you decide to pursue a career as a Recruitment Consultant, this is an excellent starting point. However, should you wish to remain a resourcer, there will always be opportunities for you, as you are integral to the success of the consultants.

Purpose of Role:

The Resourcer is responsible for sourcing, identifying and recruiting candidates to fit the resourcing requirements. Supporting the development of the overall recruitment and on-boarding strategy to enable to attract, engage, develop, retain and encourage talent in line with the growing business needs.

Duties will include:

• Proactively search for candidates using a number of online tools available
• Discuss roles with candidates over the telephone and understand their requirements
• Maintain relationships with existing candidate database
• Determine suitability of candidates by adopting an efficient and effective screening process, ensuring candidates who are rejected have a positive view
• Maintenance of various databases including adding new candidates and CV entry
• Ensure that all candidates are fully prepared for interview and have a positive experience of the recruitment process (regardless of outcome)
• Advertising new jobs
• Liaise with Recruitment Consultants to understand market trends and 'hard to fill’ areas
• Assist with marketing campaigns when required
• Liaise with Clients where necessary
• Other administrative duties reasonable to the position

Person Specification:

• Excellent telephone manner, confident and comfortable on the telephone
• Excellent administration skills
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Dependable, self motivated and hard working
• Ability to work under pressure, deal with high volumes of work and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent PC skills including MS Office, Internet and Email
• Ability to work well within a team
• Previous Recruitment experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Minimum English GCSE or equivalent, Grade C or above

Hours: Monday – Friday (Office hours)
Full training will be provided – Systems and internal database, LinkedIn, Job Boards, CV writing
Location: Central Bristol
Start Date: Immediate subject to references and your availability
