Working with a great organisation in Bristol city centre on 2 Recruitment Officer roles.
-Initial duration is 4 months, possible it will extend by 2-3 months
-Will be remote based largely if not entirely
-Must have government (ideally civil service) recruitment experience or if not clearly show understanding of the commission principles and how they impact on & dictate a specific approach to hiring.
Must have in-house recruitment experience; this is about delivering under notable time pressure.
-Proven experience of managing the end to end recruitment process.
-Knowledge and understanding of best practice and candidate/manager experience, used to working as a trusted ‘business partner’ and advisor rather than a ‘transactional service’.
-Proven experience of advising managers on attraction of candidates, applications, shortlisting and selection.
-Knowledge and experience of the different routes to market including direct sourcing, agency, apprenticeships, graduate recruitment, networking.
-An understanding of the relevant current Employment Law and the impacts on recruitment
-Experience of recruitment in the civil service (or good knowledge of it and the differences between commercial and govt. processes/compliance).
-In-house recruitment experience, ideally at pace/scale.
-High attention to detail (CSC compliance reasons) and a focus on delivering quality.
-Calm, customer-focused style and maintains focus and prioritises well under pressure.
