They are looking for a candidate who is based in the Manchester area who has experience in a really hands on role within the community. The role is to recruit students in the area for a range of programmes from foundation level to postgraduate level. The successful candidate will spend 2 days in the office and the remaining days out in the community, meeting with external agencies, attending open days or networking with colleges and working with the internal marketing team.
Remit of the role:
You will have a strong contact base within the community from previous roles in order to hit the ground running. You will be based in the Manchester area but some travel may be required occasionally to attend open days in Birmingham, or perhaps other areas as the job requires. You will be responsible identifying market opportunities that would attract a good number of student candidates, supporting and driving the recruitment process, developing and maintaining relationships with students, recruitment agencies, colleges and local communities.
2 days in the Manchester office to support admin, planning, research to identify opportunities and 3 days out in the community recruiting students, networking and building relationships.
To target and secure a high level of students for allocated courses. Meeting set targets. Pro-actively working to identify new opportunities at all times.
You will have experience dealing higher education recruitment and have a solid understanding of the recruitment process. You will have significant experience in community outreach programmes and have a solid understanding of the Manchester community.
You will have experience organising and delivering community outreach events. You will be a confident speaker, a great networker and be comfortable working autonomously to strive towards targets.
You will be a strong account manager with brand awareness.
