An exciting opportunity has risen for an experienced Recruitment Manager to join our client, in Abingdon, on a 12 month FTC to cover maternity leave.


As the Recruitment Manager you will play an integral part to leading and managing the successful delivery of all selection and recruitment services for the organisation. In charge of the companies recruitment budget, you will work closely with line managers to train on correct processes and selection methods. 


Responsible for owning and overseeing Assessment Centres ensuring they are fit for purpose, professional and have maximum effectiveness whilst keeping in line with budget, you will coach team members to improve performance relating to their pipeline management. 

In this position you will work very closely with the HR Manager of People Services to continually build sourcing plans and recruitment campaigns to recruit candidates for hard to fill and specialised areas, specifically within Police Officer recruitment. 

Adapt, and maintain employer brand and candidate experience identifying areas for improvement and report monthly on scheduling activities to identify where amendments and positive changes could be made. 

Support HR in identifying potential challenges which may impact achievement specified targets and work together to come to the best solution for business. 


Knowledge/Experience/Skills needed to be a success:
• Extensive HR Resourcing experience,
• CIPD qualified and/or equivalent experience
• Exceptionally strong HR recruitment background and recent experience of managing multi-site recruitment campaigns
• Worked within a key performance measured environment
• Strong volume recruitment knowledge, specifically including managing candidates within a pipeline and ideally
• Working to KPIs and within SLAs
• Strong administration capability, able to work with intricate processes such as pipeline instructions and the ability to act as a role model in organisational skills
• Working with data and producing management information
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement capability and a service oriented mind-set
• Working with and relationship management of external providers
• Strong people management skills, with an interest in developing people
• Able to demonstrate successful track record of process improvements and best use of technology
