Job Description

My client supplies top consultants to some of the world’s leading Oil and Gas, Energy trading and shipping companies as well as household names within TV and entertainment sector and many more.

They are looking for a Recruitment Consultant/Account Manager who has a background within recruitment or sales.

Duties


Understanding the Company’s Business Plan, the objectives and working procedures within our Quality Management System and helping to fulfil these within the Recruitment Team to ensure continual progression of the company and its services.

• Registering new Candidates and matching skills against existing job requirements

• Interviewing Candidates over the telephone and on a face to face basis

• Liaising with existing client base Contacting Clients on a quarterly basis

• Client site visits, Performance Reviews and entertaining to build on existing relationships

• Matching new requirements and selecting potential applicants

• Assisting with final selection of CV’s to forward to client

• Arranging and confirming interviews with Candidates on Customer sites

• Resourcing for specific Technical Skills area of expertise


New Business and Development of Client Relationship

• Maintaining an established database with potential new customer details drawn from Energy Trading, Oil and Gas, Financial, TV and Entertainment and Consultancy Sectors.

• Regular cold-calling of around 100 warm and cold customers with a view to creating New business relationships within the Energy Trading, Oil and Gas, Financial, TV and Entertainment and Consultancy Sectors. 

• Regular marketing which should be at quarterly intervals and includes a variety of marketing media covering candidate details, special events, calendar, brochure, new services, post-its and note pads

• Continual building of customer database through a variety of other proactive means such as Social Media and Linked In

• Keeping abreast of changes in the marketplace and ensuring the company remains competitive both in terms of Price and Service Levels

• Proactively assisting in New Initiatives with a view to building new business outside traditional areas and competencies such as non-IT Recruitment and Payrolling

• Assisting with Marketing material and responses for Invitations to Tender
• Participation in Customer presentations and on-going Customer review meetings


Person Specifics

They are looking for the successful individual to ideally have a degree and come from a professional services recruitment background as you would be dealing with corporate companies.

You will be working on your own initiative, often under pressure, so you need an immense amount of common sense and flexibility including exceptional organisational talents.

You will need

• Confident telephone manner and lots of energy and
• Enthusiasm coupled with the drive and ambition to ensure a high level of success.
• At least 3-10 years relevant experience, ideally gained within the Recruitment Industry or another fast-moving, sales environment.
• Experience in a target driven environment
• Keen to achieve targets and to be successful in gaining positive results from your own hard work and through the structured management of your team
