We are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant, on an ongoing Temporary basis, to be based in our High Wycombe Office.

This role is for a Temporaries Consultant.  The key purpose of the Temporaries Consultant role within Reed Specialist Recruitment is to generate income for the office through placing candidates into temporary jobs and developing new business through client sales activity.

The main duties of the role include:

Candidate Activity:
- Searching/sourcing for candidates via direct advertising, job boards, social media and referrals.
- Conducting marketing activity to attract new candidates to register with REED.
- Developing strong relationships with candidates through effective networking.
- Registering and interviewing new candidates to evaluate their skills, experience and career goals.
- Completing relevant background checks and referencing.
- Matching candidates to temporary/interim opportunities and filling existing temporary assignments.
- Fully preparing candidates prior to submitting them to temporary bookings.
- Writing accurate and engaging candidate profiles and actively promoting them to clients.
- Working with urgency and ensuring that bookings are filled to agreed timescales.
- Ensuring that all data relevant to the recruitment process is accurately recorded using internal databases.
- Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed to meet legislative and internal quality requirements.
- Producing ad-hoc reports as required.
- Compliance and general administration.

Business Development:
- Developing business opportunities through targeted cold calling, attending sales meetings, sales presentations, organisational visits and networking events.
- Growing business by exploring potential opportunities and selling temporary/interim solutions within the existing client portfolio.
- Creating business opportunities through proactive marketing of candidates including “spec calls”.
- Attending client meetings to service existing business and seek new business

Knowledge and Skills required:

- Completes the non-income generating tasks such as compliance, properly and at an appropriate time. 
- Gets through a high volume of work and not distracted by irrelevant things.
- Consistently performs above the minimum standard for their KPI’s. Will exceed targets and understands that this will drive revenue and ultimately their income.
- Disciplined in seeing tasks through from start to finish.

This is a full time position, 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri, rotating shift of 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm.

Previous Recruitment experience is not essential, however it is necessary to have a knowledge of Sales.
