My client is a leading organisation based in York, North Yorkshire, who are looking for a Recruitment & HR Support Manager to join their successful team. This is a brand new role within the organisation and is a fantastic development opportunity for the right person.

This role will manage the administration of the end to end HR support and recruitment activities and ensure the continuous improvement of the shared service department.

Responsibilities and duties include:

• Assist in the implementation of the new HR system
• Manage the delivery of an efficient, effective and comprehensive shared service to all relevant colleagues, advising them on best practice and legislation within end to end recruitment & HR support process and employment checking standards in a way which is a consistent with the organisation’s values
• Deliver high quality and professional service to all stakeholders
• Evaluate and monitor the performance levels within the team and identify improvements
• Produce regular business information to be used to monitor performance
• Ensure consistent service delivery
• Ensure effective use of HR and recruitment systems
• Oversee administrative tasks delivered by the department
• Design and delivery of recruitment and selection training
• Undertake any ad hoc project work

Experience and Skills required:

• Strong management experience
• Ability to coach, support and develop the team
• Recruitment experience
• Experience of operating in a shared services function
• Experience of implementing a new HR system
• Preparing HR data for senior management meetings
• Embedding the new service models
• Embracing fast paced environment
