Role – Receptionist/ Administrator
Location – Irlam
Salary - £18,000 - £21,000 (Dependent on experience)
Hours – 8am – 4.30pm Monday – Thursday
              8am – 2pm Friday
Type – Permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist/ Administrator to join a long established family owned engineering company.

The purpose of the role will be to efficiently and cheerfully greet visitors. Be responsible for the appearance of both reception area and boardroom. Answer all incoming telephone calls, redirecting to the appropriate department. Provide administrative support predominantly for the sales department but also for other departments when required.



Reception Duties:
• Answering and directing all incoming calls to the business
• Answering basic telephone sales enquiries
• Remote operation of site security barrier for deliveries
• Preparing visitor refreshments and lunches
• Ensuring visitor PPE is issued and in a clean and serviceable condition

Administration Duties:
• Customer enquiry entry
• Quotation data entry
• Preparing, recording and sending quotations to customers
• Document scanning and uploading
• Responsible for Sales inbox.
• Ad-hoc administration task for other departments as agreed by line manager.
• Preparing and sending information packs and welcome packs for new customers
• Data collation for sales and marketing reports


The client is looking for individuals who can think on their feet using initiative and common sense to adapt to different situations.
