REED Business Support Preston are very proud to representing a prestigious, well established company based in Chorley. The role, an experienced Receptionist/Admin Assistant is to cover maternity leave, starting April 2017 until at least December 2017.

Initially the role will be on temporary basis whilst covering the maternity, however there is a possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

We are looking for a warm, friendly, professional person. You will be the first point of contact for all visitors and incoming phone calls. Because of the nature of the business it is very important that first impression is the right one. You will be sitting in front of the office team, in modern open plan reception area.

Duties will also include:
• Being responsible for the reception, keeping it tidy and welcoming
• Meet and great all visitors with a warm, friendly professional manner and offer refreshments
• Update message boards with visitor names
• Maintain visitor’s book
• Assist with opening and distribution of post
• To take and redirect all incoming calls
• To assist with any admin tasks as directed

Having visited the company myself, I can vouch for their professionalism and their warm and friendly welcome. This will be a lovely place to work, you will be given a full hand over and training from the current receptionist and shown all the day to day duties.

Our client are looking to have someone in place ASAP 

Hours either 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday or 8.30am to 4.30pm. The company closes an hour early on Fridays.

Hourly rate £9.00p/h plus holiday pay.
