I am currently working with a key client based in Wakefield who are looking to recruit a Full time Receptionist on a Full time basis working Monday to Friday.

The key purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and effective reception service for visitors onto the premises to ensure that they are dealt with promptly, efficiently and courteously and also to provide a typing service where requested.

Other responsibilities will be to -
-Ensure that all visitors are dealt with in a helpful, courteous and efficient manner and are issued with their visitor’s passes as required
-To be responsible for the issue of ID Cards to visitors and administer relevant processes in order to maintain security.
-Manage and maintain keys and access cards to ensure access is available to authorised personnel and maintain security.
-Provide typing support as and when required to assist the department.
-Provide clerical support as directed by Line Management to assist Administration Staff.
-Monitor and control access to premises to cover for absence by the Security Attendant and maintain liaison with site security (where applicable) in order to maintain continuity

To be successful in this role you will need the following skills -
- basic typing and admin skills
- previous reception experience
- ability to deal with a large volume of visitors at one time
- excellent communication skills
- a professional manner
