My client, a lighting company based in London SE1, are looking to recruit for a Receptionist, owing to expansion.
They are a successful, growing organisation; they service a range of clients (commercial and residential) and have doubled their turnover in the last four years.
Salary is £22,000 per annum
This is a key role within the organisation, because it will enable them to have a continual front of house presence, and will ensure that visitors and callers are greeted effectively. This will in turn enable other staff to focus on their roles, safe in the knowledge that this area of the business is covered.
Answer all incoming calls, and transfer to the appropriate person/department
Meet and greet customers
Respond to and distribute all incoming enquiries – new project enquiries, quote requests, order queries, technical support
Manage multiple inboxes
Deal with incoming and outgoing deliveries, post and samples
Arrange equipment, lunches etc. for meetings
Organise bookings for the meeting room
Take messages, and forward to people via email
Learn about quotations
Previous experience of reception and admin duties
A willingness and ability to learn new skills quickly
Immaculate appearance - to provide a professional first impression to visitors
Excellent telephone manner
Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
Attention to detail
Customer service focused
An ability to maintain control of situations, and customers
