Your new role
Your new role as Purchasing Manager will work in the Powertrain team and will take full ownership of either the 'Engines' or 'Systems' Commodity Groups.
You will report directly into the Head of Procurement and will be responsible for all procurement for both Pre-Series and Series expenditure. The programme value is £100M+.
You will benefit from managing a team of purchasing professionals to deliver aggressive targets for the purchasing function to support organisational growth.
The organisation are a commercially driven environment, with particular emphasis on supplier development and effective negotiation and you will take primary accountability for the implementation and management of supplier contracts.
You will lead complex negotiations and support the teams in the development of long term strategies for multi-million pound projects.
