Reed Warrington are working with a market leading global organisation, based in Runcorn that have an exciting temporary opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Administration candidate to start immediately.

There may be permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

You will be required to work 40 hours per week 08:30 - 17:30 Monday - Friday

The successful candidate will attract a pay rate of £8.65 - £9.13 per hour (dependant on experience) on a temporary basis (up to £19,000 annual salary).

A Purchasing Administration Assistant is responsible for raising and managing Purchase Orders to support timely material availability, liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding purchasing requirements, and providing general administrative support to the Purchasing team.

A successful Purchasing Administration Assistant is self-motivated and is able to react quickly under pressure, prioritize and manage several tasks concurrently.

Objectives will include:

Maintain Supplier Relations. Liaise with local and international suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding purchasing requirements. Maintain a solid working relationship with suppliers.

Commercial Activities. Raise and manage Purchase Orders to support production requirements. Source and chase product quotes with local and international suppliers to support purchasing requirements.

Administrative Activities. Use of internal reporting tools and exporting to Excel. Monitor supplier ASNs where required.

Strong Team Player and Contributor. Provide general administrative support to the Purchasing team and supports the Despatch team with managing paint and packaging spend. Able to work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high pressure atmosphere. Combine strong attention to detail with an orientation towards results/execution.
