I am recruiting a Procurement assistant/purchase order administrator for at least a 3 month contract maybe longer. The role is paying between £10 -£15/hour dependent upon experience.
To be considered for this role you must have experience processing purchase orders and ideally experience in a purchasing/procurement setting, however this is not essential.
This role is responsible for the ordering of Goods, Services and Works as required under the direction of senior staff, to achieve the most economically advantageous result at least risk, and consistent with EU Public Procurement Regulations, Standing Financial Instructions and the operational requirements of the Customers. This will include but not limited to:
Processing enquiries received from Customers and Suppliers
Obtaining prices and quotations
Processing of orders compliant with the Trusts’ Standing Financial Instructions, Procurement Policy and current legislation.
Processing of invoices & credit notes
Supporting low value tender exercises.
