Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with an exceptional employer based in Sunderland who is seeking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk initially on a temporary contract for 2-3 months with the chance of a permanent opportunity for the right person.
To be considered for this role you MUST have previously worked in an Accounts Payable role (or similar) and you must be available at short notice due to the requirement of the client.
As Purchase Ledger Clerk your key duties will include:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Reconciling bank statements
- Responding to accounts queries in a professional and timely manner
- Processing petty cash
- Assisting with other members of the finance team when required
