My client, a British book and travel guide retailer are now looking to recrit an experienced, part- time Accounts Payable Assistant to join their small, friendly team. This role is based on 24 hours per week (3 days).

As a valued member of the team, reporting into the Finance Director, you will be required to;
- Process all purchase ledger invoices and credit notes into Ssage
- Matching, Batching and Coding
- Liaise with external suppliers to ensure stock deliveries are recoded accurately
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Preparation of data for payment runs
- Entering daily till receipts
- Ad hoc administrative office duties

If you do have experience in Payroll and Credit Control there is potential for this role to be 32 hour a week role (4 days). 

Whilst it would be desirable for a candidate to have experience with Sage systems, training can be provided to someone who is used to another system and can learn quickly. The job demands some basic familiarity with Excel and Word or similar systems and confident use of computers.
