Are you looking for a finance role within the property sector?

My client are looking for a Purchase ledger clerk to join there finance team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years of experience within an accounts function, looking for a new challenge with a great company to work for. 

Job Duties

- Process supplier invoices on a timely and accurate basis in accordance with company policies and procedures, correctly accounting for VAT.
- Preparing daily payment runs for suppliers by BACS and cheques
- Reconciling supplier accounts
- Data entry of information to our bespoke accounting system
- Dealing with supplier or employee queries - Prioritise work in order to meet all deadlines set by the department and offices
- Assisting team members on any other accounting tasks
- Obtain credit notes from suppliers or subcontractors where applicable.
- Competently use the bespoke accounting system to complete workload.
- Assist with verifying process where needed.
- To comply with Company Policies and Procedures.

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Outlook 
- Property background desirable 
- Customer service experience 
- Strong communication skills 
- IT proficient 
- Enthusiastic to learn and develop skills 
- Experience in accounts payable
